Prediction
Answer Options
YES goes to the one band that contains the September 2026 one-month percentage change of the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers, seasonally adjusted (CPI-U), from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The figure is used at the one decimal place BLS reports (for example 0.4%), with no further rounding. The deciding release is the BLS CPI news release covering September 2026, currently scheduled for 8:30 AM ET on 14 October 2026, and the prediction is settled as soon as it is out; later revisions do not change the result. If BLS does not publish the September figure on that date, the prediction stays open only until the moment BLS has set for its next CPI release on its official release calendar (bls.gov/schedule). If the September figure is still unpublished at that moment, the one-month change for the most recent earlier month with published data is used instead. Exactly one band is YES.
