YES if Chovy (Jeong Ji-hoon, the mid laner of Gen.G's League of Legends team) is officially taken off that team's active roster no later than 31 December 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Every kind of exit from the active lineup counts: a transfer, release, ended contract, benching to inactive or reserve status, a loan to another team or retirement. It also counts if Gen.G announces by the deadline that he has left, or that he will not be on its roster for the 2027 season, and if Gen.G shuts down or its roster is dissolved so that he and the club separate. The change must take place by the deadline and appear on Gen.G's League of Legends page on Liquipedia, and it must then remain in place for at least 48 consecutive hours, a period that may run past the deadline; a change reversed within those 48 hours does not count. A change of his name or alias while he stays with the team, or sitting out a single match while still listed on the roster, is not enough. Otherwise NO. Liquipedia is the main record; reliable news coverage may also be used.
